I
first saw a Belgian in a book –
I did some research and decided
that this was the breed for me!
I went to a large show in Vancouver
where I was fortunate enough to
meet Sue and Dick Symons of Symons’
Treasures in
California
.
I purchased my first
Belgian from the Symons in
November of 1994.
The
addition of “Brogan” to our
household came at a time when our
house was filling with children. Needless
to say, he spent the first few
years with us a “pet”, but, as
the children grew, so did our love
of the breed and eventually a
second “Belgian” was added.“Mystic” came from
Beverley Steeves
of Nightfire
Kennels in
New Brunswick.
We combined the names of
our first two Belgians to create
our Kennel Name – Nightreasure
Reg’d.
Since
that time, I have been bitten by
the show bug, as have our four
children…
